Davines has made the inner layers and components of the packaging for its 16-piece hair care collection, More Inside, as intriguing as the outer wrappers. Each product ($22-$32 each) is characterized by a utilitarian name (i.e., a simple and straightforward explanation of what the product is and what it allows you to achieve). Additional information is printed on the flip side of the colorfully patterned, handcrafted papers. Beyond the aesthetics, the packaging also helps to maximize the effectiveness of the More Inside products. The functional design of the packaging makes the products easy to handle, easy to dose and use, and easy to recycle. The new line adheres to the Zero Impact project of LifeGate so that emissions of CO2 produced by the packaging are offset by carbon credits generated by operations to create and protect forests. All paper used is FSC certified.
